A diamonte poem is a diamond shaped poem with seven lines. It is similar to a cinquain. Here is the structure for each line:

Line 1 = Noun or subject

Line 2 = Two adjectives

Line 3 = Three words ending in ‘ing’

Line 4 = Four words about the subject

Line 5 = Three words ending in ‘ing’

Line 6 = Two adjectives

Line 7 = Synonym for the subject

I am the education outreach officer for the HI-SEAS mission. What that really means is that I take a lot of photos and videos of the crew, habitat, and anything else dealing with the mission. Here is my Mars Diamonte Poem:
